We started the week finishing our Fall Box Tops collection, and student office leaders helped cut and glue. We started the week with beautiful Fall weather. We have kind and happy students at recess! Here are two third grade student leaders checking weekly homework. Fifth grade students have been growing in their reading and writing skills! Blending learning with chromebooks, speaking and listening skills, and US History with content! Students in the after school program have been creating homemade costumes. Creativity! This awesome young lady in 5th grade put first things first so she could tutor a Kindergarten student, as he learned letter sounds. Being Proactive! These two 5th grade students practiced learning how to use the camera on chromebooks. Laughter and learning! We have future business leaders in our community. These young men spent recess creating business cards to inform others about their youtube channels. Finding your voice! 1st Grade students practiced letter sounds as they wrote words for pictures they found around their classroom. Writing, reading, and movement! There were three students in 1st grade practicing reading on computers, and they each had a friend who jumped right up to assist them when they thought they saw a need. Being proactive! Kindergarten students visited the Pumpkin Patch. Sharpen the saw! We have leaders in the after school program. Students love to help clean! Being proactive! Students receiving Title 1 intervention have been learning about nouns, on a noun school walk! Here are two awesome students in the after school program putting first things first as they complete homework. A big thank you to Twin Falls High School students! We had exercising and dancing with our after school program. Sharpen the saw! Students in the before school program have been creative with paint. Sharpen the saw! We had our annual Move-a-Thon to help raise money for updating our playground. Singing, smiles, friends, Halloween costumes, and reaching goals! We ended the week with rainy Fall weather. We had inside recesses with singers, dancers, and learning with friends! We recognized our October student leaders!
