We started the week with snow. Sharpen the saw! It might be cold outside, but we had older students happy to read to Kindergarten students during the lunch hour. Practicing reading and staying warm= Think Win Win! We had office leaders and service leaders creating Christmas cards for the VA clinic, and for other schools and special people in our school district. Students helped decorate our Christmas tree. Please continue to send in food items! Students in the after school program practiced programming with robotics. Synergy! Third Grade students performed readers' theater plays. Speaking and listening skills! We had our Winter Christmas Concert. We had singing, the choir, instruments, and a play! Sharpen the saw! We recognized our November student leaders. Student voice! These students are great examples of leadership! We recognized our November staff Oscars. Office leaders passed out the statues, and kind bars as we are spreading kindness. We ended the week with the start of our 12 Days of Christmas fun, an ugly sweater day, and student leaders selling candy canes.
