A big event this week was the Science Fair presentations. Students in 4th and 5th grade presented their projects in front of a panel. They were awesome finding their voice! A big thank you to our parent and community volunteers who helped judge. This young lady said she was dressed up like the Principal. We celebrated the birthday of Dr. Seuss. Kindergarten students have been learning about synergy during their weekly STEM class. Here are three students creating a rain shelter with legos. We have a school wide important goal- reading! Student leaders have been posting the books students have read. We recognized the February Student Leaders. We had two awesome students represent Harrison at the Spelling Bee. Learning occurs everywhere! Second grade students have been creating google slide presentations. We recognized our February Family of the Month. After school students have been creating yummy healthy foods. Sharpen the saw with friends! Third grade students have been using markerspaces to create wind powered cars during their weekly STEM class. Synergy! We ended the week with a Super Hero Friday Fun Day.
